T71/873: claim by Samuel Barrett Moulton Barrett, as owner-in-fee and tenant in tail. Counterclaim from C.N. Palmer and Martin Williams, of Great Britain, as legal and equitable incumbrances in respect of several breaches of trust by Edw. Barrett (deceased). Note states: 'Letter from Messrs Frere Forster and Frere giving notice of having lodged petition of appeal (dated 16/06/1837)'. Withdrawn on 09/11/1839. Award amended to Edward B. M.Barrett on 13/01/1840, after the death of Samuel Barrett Moulton Barrett. The amount is shown as £1767 17s 8d in T71/873 (at continuation 899). Adjudged to Edward B. M.Barrett and C. J. M. Barrett (his son) on 22/11/1841, £7029 17s 0d.  

Jamaica Almanac (1828): Cinnamon Hall estate registered to Samuel Barrett Moulton Barrett, with 303 enslaved persons (plus 164 enslaved persons on Cornwall estate).
