Touzalin 'claims 7 of the above slaves under deed of conveyance dated 4th April 1835 from James Gowdie [sp?], who purchased them from Catherine Ferguson, colegatee of James Ferguson'. Claims also by Ferguson family members under the will of James Ferguson, and a claim by Maria J. Ferguson for dower.
