Parliamentary Papers p. 315.
Parliamentary Papers show Virgin Islands claim nos. 231 and 232 combined in terms of compensation (given in previous claim) but separate in numbers of enslaved persons. Neither number of enslaved persons ties to compensation amount. T71/883 makes clear the two awards, for total of 133 enslaved persons.

Jamaican-born widow of a prominent slave-owner; resident in Britain following the death of her husband in 1818. Accused - and acquitted - of the cruel treatment of some enslaved people whom she brought to Britain with her.

An inventory and valuation of enslaved persons at Williamsfield settlement, St Elisabeth parish, Jamaica, 1814. 3. An inventory of animals at Windsor Estate, St Elizabeth parish, Jamaica, 1814. 4. A cover note outlining the contents of the document.
