Problem with number of enslaved persons?

T71/433 p. 1894: John Lane, as attorney for John Hubbard, registered 373 enslaved persons in 1832.  

RG 10/03/1810: 'The creditors of John Hubbard Esq. are informed that Bills of Exchange will be drawn upon R & W Pulsford Esqs London for £1400 sterling - on sugars shipped by the Jubilee, for which Tenders are to be deposited in a box at the Vendue office, which will be opened on Wednesday..in presence of such creditors as chuse to attend, and the highest offer for the whole or part will be accepted.'

RG 20/05/1815: The trustees were Wm. McBean and John Madden. In 1815, representatives of John Hubbard sold the Columbia estate to Thomas Naghten.

RG 18/07/1807: letter to governor Bentinck from John Hubbard, protesting his innocence after being dismissed with 4 members of the College of Kiezers.
