John Scoble, Hill Coolies: a brief exposure of the deplorable conditions of hill coolies in British Guiana and Mauritius, and of the nefarious means by which they were induced to resort to these colonies (London, Harvey and Darton, 1840): 47 Coolies were delivered to James Blair's Waterloo estate in 1838.
