London Gazette shows an insolvent debtor, Joseph Robinson, 'formerly....in partnership with Luke Thomas Crossley, both in Leeds Yorkshire, trading with and carrying on business at School Close and Monkpitts Mills..under the firm Crossley, Robinson and Company, stuff and woolen-printers and dyers' and later a book-keeper in apparently unconnected businesses.

Free woman of colour; left Demerara in 1812 as a young woman and settled in Starthforth, Yorkshire, where she died in 1862.
