  1. The partnership between John Halliday and George Daniel [sic] of Penygored South Wales as iron and tin manufacturers was dissolved by mutual consent 26/08/1782; George Daniel to continue the Manufactory on his own account. J. Halliday, Geo. Daniell

  2. The history of Castell Malgwyn Tinplate works suggests that 'Holiday [sic] and Daniell' bought into the existing works of the Penygored Company, and that the operation was unsold to Benjamin Hammett in 1791.
