Return of Edward Wason, the joint property of himself and John Cobham. The estate was maritime: there were no women at all and among the men there were: 27 sailors; 2 coopers; 8 porters. (There were also no children. The average age was 28.) Edward Wason also field a separate return of 14 enslaved in St Michael which included 8 boatmen, 5 house servants and 1 child. It is not clear which Edward Wason this was. See T71/520, p. 592.
