Return of Sir Thomas Neave Bart., owner; returned by by Charles Venn, attorney. Notes that Neave is 'residing in Great Britain'. This may be the same as Herbert's estate which is listed in the 1817 and 1821 registers. Also, the number of enslaved people listed matches claim 228, but it is claim 229 that names Rendezvous. The number of enslaved people in claim 229 matches the number of people given for the estate listed as Palmetto Point.
