The enslaved people on Providence were 'transferred' from George William Hamilton to John Davidson c. 1829. Davidson's father Henry Davidson sen. had left Windsor Castle and Providence in St Thomas-in-the-East to John Davidson in his will proved in 1827. This is not reflected in the information in the Slave Registers and Almanacs.
