Papers (1795-1801) relating to the Tarrow [sic] sugar plantation on Dominica were exhibited in the Chancery suit of Haddock v Thomlinson, C 111/212. The revival of this suit in 1822 identified Martha Haddock and John Thomlinson as the parties, C 13/780/14. Martha Haddock of Chelsea widow was described as a lunatic in 1802, when an advertisement for her next of kin was placed, London Gazette 15456 23 February 1802 p. 209; the will of Thomas Haddock of St Lukes Chelsea proved in 1799 [PROB 11/1317/13] showed his wife as Martha and his executor as John Thomlinson of Staple Inn.
