[Number of enslaved people] 1(Tot) 1(M)
[Name] [no name given]

In the possession of Philip Jaquet and al as Executors of Thomas Spicer deceased. Decrease of 80 enslaved people by sale: 9 of whom sold to Thomas Hawley, 25 of whom sold to William Davidson of Redington, 22 of whom sold to Dr James Maxwell of Evandale, 7 of whom sold to White River Estate, 13 of whom sold to George Helps, 2 of whom sold to Samuel Pryce of Port Antonio, 2 of whom sold to John Gough. Increase of 24?? enslaved people by purchase? [the number of enslaved people who are in the increase column as having been purchased does not accord with other figures and totals- I have included all those vendors mentioned, but that would bring the number to 31 enslaved people purchased rather than 24 - (there was 1 birth and 3 deaths) some enslaved people may have been registered in different places but included in the previous total and still marked as purchased?]. Increase of enslaved people by purchase: 13 of whom purchased from James Whitehouse and registered in Portland 1820 by William Parry, 4 of whom purchased from the insolvent estate of A. R. Jones and last registered by him in Portland, 5 of whom purchased from Robert Harrison administrator to the Estate of Penelope Brown and registered in St George in 1823 by Robert Harrison, 3 of whom purchased of Robert Baugh and registered by him in St George in 1817, 2 of whom purchased from St George Workhouse, 3 of whom purchased of Helen Carrie (sp?) at public sale, 1 of whom purchased from Philip Jaquet executor of Edward Barry's Estate.
