Notes

A group of enslaved people bought from William Baker Utten and moved from St Ann to St James between 1817 and 1820. Very likely settled on Spring Mount estate in St James, which was at the time in the possession of William Heath as receiver. When William Heath bought Spring Mount between 1823 and 1826, he registered this group as part of the other enslaved people on Spring Mount.
