Return of Jedediah Kerie Edmead, owner; shows how the Key and Profit estates were divided; 40 enslaved people were sold to Ann Louise Edmead with the Profit Estate "under the execution of Mannings and Anderdon, and other executions"; 62 enslaved people were transferred to Charles Woodley and William Stephens Esquires with the Key Estate in trust; 5 enslaved people were delivered with the Key Estate, but sold by the Deputy Provost Marshal under 'divers' executions, and were purchased by John W Wattley; 8 enslaved people were sold by "the Deputy Provost Marshal under divers executions against [Edmead] , issued prior to the trusts of the Key Estate being created"; next to the ages of 27 of the enslaved attached to the Profit estate is noted "these ages agreeable to the Return A of John W. Maillard".
