This is a tentative connection, made because Woodcock shows St David Lot no. 16 (purchased originally by Torquil MacVicar) twice, once becoming part of Highlands and once part of Les Cateau [=Les Coteaux]. The former is substantiated by MacVicar's will, the latter is not.

Notes

  1. Original grantees of Les Coteaux were Andrew Allon, Anthy. Richardson and Torquil or Torquill MacVicar; under St David nos. 11, 13 and 16 respectively; 'Present Possessor Jas. Hackett.' In 1832 its owner was given as 'Wyllie and others'; the estate was still in cultivation in 1862.

This source gives the estate name as 'Les Cateau' and MacVicar as 'Porguil MacVicar' in the 'Tables showing the Lots.
