  1. Original grantee under Barbados Bay division (St George) Lot no. 5 was Samuel Clapham 19/03/1767. By 1773 the present proprietors was 'late John Birkmer'. It does not appear on the 1832 Byres' map or among the estates in cultivation in 1862, but the 'present possessor c. 1867 was shown as Jas. F. Jamieson.
