Awarded the compensation for a single enslaved person on Dominica. The claim was made in the name of Margaret Kennedy 'formerly of Dominica but now of Bathphiland [Rathfriland?] Ireland' by her attorney Thomas Kennedy.
Death "On the 14th May, at Dominica, West Indies, after a residence of 21 years in that country, Surgeon William Kennedy, eldest son of the late Mr. Thomas Kennedy, of Ratheiland."

A cover note outlining the contents of the document.
