Slave-owner in Grenada, apparently resident, and reportedly dying there in 1854. Acquired enslaved people between 1826 and 1829 on his marriage to Cinderella Commissiong.
An unsourced online family tree gives him as the son of Caleb Hayling and Henrietta nee Dyer. Born in Grenada in 1790, dying in Grenada in 1854. Assistant Justice of the Supreme Court of Justice of the Island of Grenada and its Dependencies 19/08/1841. Father of 8 children born before his marriage to Cinderella, between 1811 and 1827.
