Biography

Attorney for Robert Fairweather (q.v.).

Robert Fairweather had an illegitimate son, William with his "good housekeeper" Catherine Allen, baptised in St Ann in 1819 and named in his father's will as one of his residuary legatees. This may be the William Fairweather who became Robert's attorney, or another relative.

Note a William Fairweather was awarded compensation for the ownership of 1 enslaved person in St Mary in 1834; this may be the man who was Robert's attorney and/or the illegitimate son.
