Inherited Bushy Park in Vere, Jamaica, through his wife Adah Ann Jackson. Also owner of Green Vale in Manchester.

Thomas Craskell Husband and his wife Adah Ann had 6 children baptised in Jamaica: Edward (born 1811), Elizabeth Bevile (baptised 1815, no year of birth given), Thomas Craskell junior (born 1815), George (born 1821), Mary (born 1823) and another Mary (born 1828). The baptisms of Edward and Elizabeth took place at Thomas's father-in-law's estate, Bushy Park, in Vere. Listed "of Green Vale" at the baptisms of Elizabeth Bevil, Thomas Craskell junior and the younger Mary.

  2. Thomas Husband, age 43, occupation coffee planter, British Subject, arrived in New York on board the Greenock 12/10/1832 along with Mrs Thos Husband age 51, Mary age 7, Thomas Craskill age 7, Richard Jackson age 15, Caroline age 13, George age 11 and Ann Adik[?] age 4.

  3. Memorial inscription in Trenton, New Jersey, "Sacred to the memory of Thomas Craskell Husband of Jamaica who departed this life the 22nd day of August 1837 aged 50 years 4 months and 20 days."
