Claimed unsuccessfully as executrix of her late husband John Roche Dasent for the compensation for the North and South Union estates in St Vincent, which was paid to the London merchants Boddington & Davis as mortgagees.
Charlotte Martha Irwin was the daughter of Alexander Burrowes Irwin and his wife Lydia Irwin (q.v.) of St Vincent. Charlotte Martha Irwin married her sister's widower John Roche Dasent (1773-1832), the Attorney-General of St Vincent. Their children included Bury Irwin; Alexander; Charles Underwood; and George Webbe. Death of Charlotte M. Dasent registered Q1 1863 Rugby Warwickshire aged 68. Burial at St Andrew Rugby 30/01/1863.

Sir George Webbe Dasent was Assistant Editor of The Times, and has an entry in the ODNB as 'Scandinavian scholar.' His son, another John Roche Dasent, was the author of A West India planters family: its rise and fall (London, 1914).
John Bury Dasent (1806-1888), a county court judge in England, the son of John Roche Dasent (1773-1832) and his first wife Harriet Irwin, married in 1838 Jane Camden French, the daughter of Mark Dyer French (q.v.).
