???? - 1866
Son and co-heir of Jonathan Harrison (q.v.). His father's London merchant firm failed shortly after his death, and it is not clear how much of the father's wealth survived to be transmitted to the son.
George Harrison was the executor for Jonathan Harrison, almost certainly the same man as the former partner originally of Joseph Timperon in Timperon, Litt and Harrison (later Timperon and Dobinson, q.v.) and then of William Peatt Litt (q.v.) and Richard Steele.
George Harrison was identified as of Great Marlborough Street in the probate of his father's will. A man of the same name and address was admitted to the College of Surgeons in 1835, and was almost certainly the George Harrison FRCS living at Walton on Thames in 1861 born Lewes aged 55 with his wife Caroline born Ireland and the George Harrison who died in 1866 formerly of Brook Street but late of 65 Grosvenor Street leaving £14,000.
Times 27/10/1826 p. 3 'The King v Wm Clark' gives a summary of the Timperon/Harrison/Litt firms' development.
