Biography

  1. The three Thomas Geohegans can be distinguished as Thomas Geoghegan Senior, Thomas Geoghegan Junior (q.v.), and Thomas Kelly Geoghegan (q.v.) “Thomas Geohegan Junior was baptised at Friendship Penn on 1806 Sept 28, the son of Thomas Senior [q.v.] and Elizabeth Geoghegan, born on the 20th of May last. Sponsors: Hon John Hiatt [q.v.], James H Byles[q.v.], Thomas Kelly Geoghegan[q.v.], John Mignot, Mrs Radcliffe, Mrs Hayne, Mary Mignot. Baptised on the same day, Terence Geoghegan son of colour of Thomas Geoghegan [Snr]. Sponsors: John Mignot Mr and Mrs. A group of enslaved people were also baptised on the same day.”

  2. On 23/02/1832, Thomas Geohagan Junior of St Catherine, Gentleman, married Eliza McCullogh.
