Biography
Trustee with three others, almost certainly of the will of Edmund Fearon Bourke (1755-1812) (q.v.), his (and their) father-in-law. Son of Rev. Cradock Glascott, vicar of Hatherleigh, Devon. Educated at Oxford and ordained 1811. Vicar of Seaton and Beere, Devon.
- July 7 1814 at Topham the Rev. J. C. Glascott of Exmouth to Georgiana, dau[ghter] of the late E. F. Bourke Esq., of Exmouth. Couple had at least three daughters: Anne Jane Rice (married John Elton of Weston Super Mare); Georgina Charlotte (married Thomas Milles, Captain 75th Regiment); Edith Mary Ann (married Rev. William Harris). Both John and his wife died within 18 days of each other at Seaton Vicarage, 1867.
