Biography
Jane Dyer bought two enslaved people in Trelawny between 1820 and 1823.
- Probably the Jane Alves of Trelawny, who married William Dyer of Trelawny by licence and in church in Trelawny 26/10/1820, although strictly speaking the enslaved people in 1823 would have been the property of her husband. They were married by Rev. Thomas Alves, curate, brother of Jane.
