Biography

Resident slave-owner and attorney in Jamaica. Correspondent with John Innes of Copthall Buildings between 1822 and 1838 [sic].

  1. A codicil to the will of David Ingram of St Ann's Jamaica [made in St Bartholomew's Hospital in 1835] was proved 11/11/1835. In it Ingram said his original will was in Jamaica and remained valid. He left two sums of £100 each to Isabella and Elizabeth Collambell [sic] out of the money in the hands of James Ewing & Co. of Glasgow. He appointed Donald Davidson of Norfolk Street Strand and Archibald Paull of Leadenhall Street as the executors of the codicil, and instructed them to receive his compensation money and pay it over to the executors of his main will for the purposes of that will.
