Biography

  1. Joseph Fray, born 31/01/1803 and baptised 27/05/1803 in St James, Jamaica, son of John Fray (q.v.) and his wife Mary nee Sebeck. His father was a merchant from Bolton, Lancashire, trading in cloth in Jamaica from the late 18th century until his death in 1820.

  2. Joseph Fray of Jamaica, age 53 years and 3 months, occupation accountant, travelled from Jamaica and arrived at New York, 12/05/1856.
