Slave-owner on Mauritius, co-awardee with Hugh Hunter (q.v.) for 90 enslaved people under Mauritius No. 1260 LBS has not to date traced him beyond his marriage in London in 1838 with Lydia Sophia Augusta Webb, when he was given as 'of the Mauritius.'
