Counterclaimed for the compensation for the Norwich estate in Portland Jamaica as one of the two assignees under the marriage settlement of Charles Forbes and his wife (tentatively identified as the Charles Forbes who died in 1835: their settlement was dated 29/08/1800).

  1. In 1851 James Peter Rhoades aged 49 'late rector of Clonmell Ireland, previously Fellow Wadham College Oxford no permanent cure of souls now', was living at 50 Warwick St. Rugby with wife Philadelphia Palmer Rhoades and seven children (six of them born in Clonmell) and servants.

  2. James Peter Rhoades, third son of Thomas Rhoades of Chichester, matriculated Wadham Oxford 27/01/1820 aged 17; BA 1825; MA 1829; fellow 1830-32; rector of Clonmel Ireland, died at Rugby 06/11/1852.
