Mrs Charlotte Pengelley, late Charlotte Harriott, counterclaimant as legatee under the will of her father Wm Harriott of £4000 for the compensation for the enslaved people on Mexico estate in St Elizabeth Jamaica.
Lieut. Henry Pengelley, R.N., Stoke Devonport, married Charlotte Herriott, youngest daughter of J. [sic] Herriott Esquire, late of Mexican Estate in that Island, in Jamaica 08/04/1834.
In 1861, Charlotte Pengelley aged 60 born Arundel Sussex and her husband Henry Pengelley 68 Retired Commander RN, shipping master Port of London were living at Greenwich (as they had been in 1851).
In 1863, the Court of the Commissioners for Sale of Incumbered Estates ex parte Charlotte Pengelly and others, advertised for creditors of Mexico.
