Of Inverness, beneficiary (but dying in 1837) among other family members of the residual compensation for Plantation Kilcoy in British Guiana, after the prior payment of a legacy to Leonora Lynch, the former housekeeper of Donald Fraser's brother John, the former owner of Plantation Kilcoy. The compensation was not awarded until 1840, when Margaret Fraser nee McIver (q.v.), probably Donald Fraser's widow, was awarded a share.
T71/1253 British Guiana no. 269. Robert Fraser of New Amsterdam Berbice was identified as the attorney of Donald Fraser (late of Newton Red Castle Rosshire now of Inverness, Scotland) and Margaret Fraser b. McIver of same town. Donald Fraser had died 30/03/1837.
