Biography

One of dozens of legatees of William White awarded the compensation for the enslaved people on Woodstock in St Ann Jamaica, may with links to Essex or to areas of what is now east London.

  1. Death of Elizabeth Frances Ireland, aged 99 [sic], registered at West Ham Q3 1876. In 1851 Elizabeth F. Ireland widow aged 70 farmer 340 acres born Little Ilford was living as head of household at Prospect Farm, Plaistow West Ham with an adult son and daughter. In 1861 she was at Loft House Plaistow aged 82, 'Farmer (joint[?]), and in 1871 she was at Farm House, Plaistow, aged 93, 'Retired Farmer'.
