Awarded a share of the compensation for the enslaved people on the Woodstock estate in St Ann Jamaica as one of dozens of legatees of William White, many of whom had connections with Essex or parts of what is now East London and a number of whom carried the surname Tyser. Nothing further has been traced of him to date.
