Captain in the army, son of John James Joseph Vernon of Vernon's in Antigua and Mary, daughter of Rev. Randal Andrews. Sarah Vernon nee Fowler (q.v.) counterclaimed unsuccessfully for compensation for Vernon's as his widow and personal representative.
