Eliza A. Farr (q.v.), the widow of John Farr, counterclaimed for one-sixth of the enslaved people on the Old Road estate on Antigua plus five her own property. John Farr had died in London in 1832.
John Farr of Antigua died London-terrace Hackney Road in his 46th year.
Samuel Athill Farr (born 11 October 1811), son of John and Eliza Farr (q.v.) became an asst. master at Codrington Foundation School, Barbados to 1837 and was Minister of the Protestant Church and Chaplain to the Garrison at St. Lucia 1837-42. He married in 1837 Sarah Bryant, 3rd daughter of John Willoughby of Barbados and died St. Lucia 14 March 1842.
