Biography

Early purchaser with Walter Robertson (q.v.) of land in Tobago that became the Bon Accord estate. Alexander Symson was Speaker of the House of Assembly of Grenada in 1787.

  1. The Bury St Edmunds Suffolk Record Office has a valuation with list of enslaved people of Bon Accord, Grenada (sic) dated 1772. It is not yet clear what the connection, if any, was between Alexander Symson and Suffolk.
