???? - 1868
Anna Mitchell of Threadeneedle Street counterclaimed unsuccessfully as judgement creditor against Michael Muirhead (who was the administrator of Alexander Muirhead) for an award for 12 enslaved people in Manchester Jamaica. Anna Mitchell was almost certainly the widow of John Mitchell of Mincing Lane (q.v.), whose half-brother and nephew were both called Alexander Muirhead. Her address might imply some commercial activity, which has yet to be traced.
