Natural son of John Orr (q.v.) and nephew of Thomas Orr and Matthew Orr (each of whom q.v.).

  1. Will of Thomas Orr planter of Tobago proved 12/02/1817. The will begins with a recitation that identifies John Orr advocate, commissary and townclerk of Glasgow as the father of Thomas Orr and summarises the effects of the will and codicil of John Orr on the Kings Bay and Brotherfield estates and the lands known as Sandy Bay and Ayr. None of these has yet been traced reliably in the compensation records.
