Archibald Cochran, the owner of Cochran's or Cochrane's Old North Sound estate and another estate called Willoughbys, both in Antigua, lived at North House, Putney Hill until his death c.1814. He had almost certainly inherited North Sound as an infant from his father, also Archibald Cochran of Antigua and Cheshunt (d. 1736).
