John Haywood

???? - 1820

Biography

Co-owner of Good Intent plantation in Demerara in 1817 with 'heirs of Fraser.' David Alston identifies him as of both Inverness and Demerara, dying in 1820 and as in partnership with John and Alexander Fraser in Good Intent, for which he cites evidence of signficant indebtedness (£30,000 secured on the estate and a further £20,000 for Haywood personally).
