Resident slave-owner in Jamaica, shown as previous owner of Culloden from at least 1807 onwards. Possibly the executor of Thomas Thistlewood: William Tomlinson reportedly manumitted Phibba on behalf of Thistlewood's estate 26/11/1792.
Nicholas and George Tomlinson, sons of William Tomlinson Esquire by Jane Goodin, baptised in Westmoreland, 06/10/1793. Nicholas Tomlinson, carpenter, married Jane Malcolm in Westmoreland, 22/12/1826; both free persons of colour.
William Tomlinson Esquire was buried in Westmoreland, 01/10/1804.
