???? - 1863
Col. William Williams Blake was the residuary legatee of his sister Mary Anne Blake (q.v.), after legacies by her of £5000 (later increased to £6000) each to his two reputed daughters Mary Ann Blake and Emma Louisa Blake. He appeared as mortgagee of the enslaved people on the Shrewsbury estate in the 1830s, probably the same people shown under Mount Carmel when his sister owned it (and them). Both he and his sister appear to have been born in Jamaica, and genealogical material online shows them as children of William Blake (d. 1797) and Elizabeth Ann (or Anne) Partridge, daughter of Thomas Partridge (q.v.).
William William Blake a colonel in HM's Service died 21/02/1863 at 65 Regency Square Brighton leaving £10,000: his executrix and daughter Susannah Maria Blake did not appear in the will of his sister of 30 years before.
Col. William Williams Blake was a soldier under Wellington, serving in the Peninsular War 1808-9 and 1813.
