Slave-owner on Barbados. An invalid in 1826 and deceased by the time of the 1829 Barbados Slave Register. Probably the husband of Elizabeth Jones, who was his Executrix, the awardee on Barbados 171 [10 enslaved]; and possibly the father of Humphrey Jones, awardee, Barbados 764 [1 Enslaved] and Barbados 765 [10 enslaved].

  1. Humphrey Jones of Roans [sic] was buried at St George Barbados aged 77 29/01/1828.
