Fourth son of Jacob Johnson of Springfield, Jamaica, and his second wife Susanna Mary Poole Lawrence. Born in Jamaica in 1770, married Elizabeth, 3rd daughter of Alexander Campbell of Jamaica by his wife Rebecca, daughter of Joseph Tharp of Jamaica. Mary died in May 1824 aged 50. George Robert Johnson died 10/09/1853 aged 83.
