An unsourced website states Anthony Rerrie came to Jamaica as a soldier in the 2nd Maroon war 1795-1796. 'Leut Anthony Rery of the York Hussars and Elizabeth Bell Appleby Spinster married June 17 1799.' The same website gives his death as 05/02/1825. 'Eliza infant daughter of Anthony Rerrie Esqr. and Elizabeth Bell his wife' was baptised in Westmoreland, Jamaica, 15/01/1806.
Anthony Rerrie junior married Helen Tomlinson in Westmoreland, Jamaica, in 1823 (no day or month of marriage is stated in the register). This ties in with the claim for compensation for Bushy Park [2].
