Biography

Doctor Murdoch McKenzie was the husband of Elizabeth McKenzie, q.v. Murdoch McKenzie was the owner of Orangefield estate in St Thomas-in-the-Vale, Jamaica, from at least 1809 to 1817. Murdoch McKenzie was ‘off the island’ by June 1817, and by 1820, both Elizabeth McKenzie and Murdoch McKenzie were deceased. Family associate Charles McDermot was their Executor and Trustee.
