Owner of a group of enslaved people in Clarendon whom his executors sold to Bellefield in Manchester between 1823 and 1826. Possibly the James Reid, second son of the late Alexander Reid of South Castle Street Edinburgh, who died in St Dorothy's Jamaica 14/01/1822.
