Lucy Annesley, co-owner with Sophia Annesley (q.v.) of the Diamond estate in Trinidad in 1828.The two women were daughters of Major Richard Annesley (q.v). Lucy Annesley married Rev. Thomas Alfred Lyons (d. 1881): their son was the mediaeval historian Ponsonby Annesley Lyons. Rev. Thomas Alfred Lyons was appointed chaplain to the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland (the Earl of Mulgrave) in 1836.
