Elizabeth Thomas, the daughter of Dorothy 'Doll' Thomas, was the common law wife of the Grenada shipbuilder and merchant John Coxall. Both Elizabeth Thomas and John Coxall died at sea in 1818. His natural children inherited a quarter of his estate.
