Tenant-for-life of Alscott estate in St Elizabeth, Jamaica. The previous owner was Charles McKnight and after Mary's death the estate was inherited by Mary Morrison Laing.
Mary Morrison married Charles McKnight at St Elizabeth, 29/03/1798. This marriage appears in the parish registers under the heading "Marriages of persons not both white".
Mrs Mary McKnight, aged 68, was buried at Alscot, 16/01/1824.
